Pre-Production

Projects stock check done based on lighting plot submission. Used to determine what special equipment, rigging and other elements are in stock in order to determine what needs to be purchased and rented. This is an important first step in completing an accurate price-out for the project as a whole.
Load-In

Load-in schedule takes into consideration needs and timelines of other departments as well as availability of lighting staff. In pre-production, it is used to determine the feasibility of a project based on time and labor constraints. Once it is determined that the scope of the project is realistic, the schedule is used to guide and inform the progress of the load-in and is updated daily based on progress.

Complete lighting plot. Original submission by lighting designer, updated, cleaned up and clarified by production electrician.
